You can also iron freezer paper onto the back of cotton fabric, cut it into 8" x 10" sheets, and run that through your printer, then iron it to set the inks. It's not washable and I don't know how long it will last, but I've used the technique to make LOTR tee shirts for my Barbie doll collection, and some of them have lasted 4 years now.
