This is not terribly exciting, but since it's been so quiet here lately, and I have been working on my hobbit dollhouse this week, I figured some pic spam would not go amiss. ;)
Here's the front entrance of Tiny Bag End. The stone fence and lamp post were already there, but the wooden gate is new. All bunnies provided by the lovely and talented
moosefluff.

Yes, that's a real working sliding bolt I managed to find. Ain't it cute? It won't keep any orcs out of the garden, but I couldn't resist. ;) For those interested in scale, the gate is about 2 inches tall. Bilbo is 4.5 inches or so. I thought about trying to make the sign myself, but I have no talent for calligraphy. So I found a screencap online of the sign in the movie, printed it out really small, and traced the lettering with a very fine marker. Ehh... try to ignore the crookedness of the sign. One day I will overcome my laziness and fix that.

And lastly, the inside of the gate! Anticlimactic, I know, but what can I do? :P

And that's it. Have a good and crafty day. :)
