Front gate for Tiny Bag End

lotr_craftsThis is not terribly exciting, but since it's been so quiet here lately, and I have been working on my hobbit dollhouse this week, I figured some pic spam would not go amiss. ;)
Here's the front entrance of Tiny Bag End. The stone fence and lamp post were already there, but the wooden gate is new. All bunnies provided by the lovely and talented ![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)

Yes, that's a real working sliding bolt I managed to find. Ain't it cute? It won't keep any orcs out of the garden, but I couldn't resist. ;) For those interested in scale, the gate is about 2 inches tall. Bilbo is 4.5 inches or so. I thought about trying to make the sign myself, but I have no talent for calligraphy. So I found a screencap online of the sign in the movie, printed it out really small, and traced the lettering with a very fine marker. Ehh... try to ignore the crookedness of the sign. One day I will overcome my laziness and fix that.
And lastly, the inside of the gate! Anticlimactic, I know, but what can I do? :P
